We’re proud to present the Honorary Member of XEnergy Mr. Vjekoslav Majetić, the winner of the prestigious competition EY Entrepreneur of the Year Award 2023. Mr. Majetić is the founder and owner of the company DOK-ING, which designs and manufactures robotic systems that protect human lives in the most dangerous operations, especially demining, firefighting and mining. Its demining machines are leaders with a global market share of 80% and are present in over 40 countries. In addition to these globally recognised products, Mr Majetić is also developing a new technology to produce hydrogen from sewage sludge, which will make an important contribution to the energy transition. It’s a great honour for us that Mr. Vjekoslav Majetić is our first honorary member, who enhances every idea and project with his tireless energy, creativity and vision.

With the new corporate member Nano Energies Croatia, XEnergy has already gathered 3 of the total of 4 registered aggregators on the Croatian market. The company Nano Energies Croatia is part of the Nano Energies Group from the Czech Republic, which started 15 years ago as an electricity trader and later as a supplier, and in recent years has dedicated itself entirely to the aggregation of flexibility.

We hung out at the Wind&Wine pre-summer party with many of our members and partners. Another international company that develops projects in the field of renewable energies has become our corporate member. VSB, headquartered in Dresden, is one of the leading full-service providers in the field of renewable energies. Its core business is the national and international project development of wind and photovoltaic parks, their operational management and the operation of its own parks.

The company ALTPRO is our new corporate member! We are very pleased that our membership has been extended by a specialized high-tech company engaged in the development and production of signaling and safety systems for railway infrastructure and railway vehicles. The company’s production program consists of train detection systems, systems for securing railway-road crossings and safety systems for vehicles based on INDUSI technology (I60 and PZB90). More than 30 years of experience in research, development and production in the railway sector make ALTPRO one of the most important factors in the global market with solutions in more than 50 countries on 6 continents. As a flexible, customer-oriented company, ALTPRO successfully carries out smaller, specific projects as well as larger renovation and new construction projects for railroad lines.

The energy transition is not possible without major changes in the transport sector, and the automotive industry is undergoing dynamic and rapid structural change. We are therefore particularly pleased to introduce our new corporate member GA Adriatic, which is one of the leading companies in the field of e- mobility in the region.

We are particularly pleased to present our new corporate member HOPS, a key company for the success of the energy transition in Croatia. HOPS is the Croatian transmission system operator, the owner of the entire Croatian transmission network (voltage levels 400kV, 220kV and 110kV) and provides the transmission of electricity as a regulated public service. It operates according to the model of an independent transmission system operator and manages the regulatory area of the Croatian electricity system (EES). In the interest of secure and high-quality electricity supply to customers and electricity exchange, the Croatian EES is interconnected with the EES of neighboring countries and other ENTSO-E members which together form a synchronous network in continental Europe.

The Interenergo Group is an international energy group headquartered in Ljubljana.
