On April 11, XEnergy successfully organized the second cycle of one-day trainings on contracting the purchase and sale of green electricity, i.e. PPAs. Our first internship program, organized in collaboration with our corporate partner, E.ON Croatia, has successfully concluded. Six female graduate students from technical and social sciences had the opportunity to experience real challenges in the dynamic energy industry over one month, guided by experienced mentors and working on concrete projects: from employee engagement, developing solar potential in Croatia, and market strategies for certain parts of E.ON’s business, to exploring green transition opportunities and helping shape solutions for waste management in the photovoltaic industry.

The member of our Assembly, Nađa Dizdarević, was elected Young Energy Ambassador for 2025. Among more than 1300 applications from all over the world, 30 young ambassadors were selected, and Nađa had the honor of being one of them – as the only candidate from Croatia! The selection was carried out by the Executive Agency for Climate, Infrastructure and Environment (CINEA), the body of the European Commission responsible for the implementation of key EU programs in the field of sustainability and climate transition.
