New corporate member - Interenergo d.o.o.

The Interenergo Group is an international energy group headquartered in Ljubljana. In the ten years of its existence, Interenergo has developed into one of the largest energy companies in the region and is represented in six countries in Southeast Europe. Since 2009, the company has been part of the Austrian Kelag Energie Group, which celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2023. The main activities of Interenergo are: Electricity trading, electricity contracts, investments and development of RES projects and energy services (ESCO). The Interenergo Group’s goal is to develop projects and solutions that create added value for its partners and the market. They are constantly on the move, monitor market developments, react quickly and rationally incorporate recognized trends into their business models.

General Director David Huber emphasizes: “Our RES portfolio includes more than 35 operational projects with a nominal capacity of 100 MW, using hydro, wind and solar energy, spread across seven countries in Southeast Europe. We have been present on the Croatian market since 2020, when we commissioned our first wind farm in Jasenice. Today, we have two wind farms and one solar farm in operation in Croatia and are actively developing several other wind and solar projects. We are also focusing on the important area of energy efficiency, where we provide our partners with the energy contracting model (without their investment) to renovate energy systems and thereby achieve energy and financial savings as well as important environmental benefits. These projects bring new green energy to the distribution networks and contribute significantly to the reduction of CO2 emissions.«

As a comprehensive energy company, Interenergo supports its partners in turning various energy challenges into opportunities – not only for themselves, but also for the local community and society. Interenergo’s efforts are confirmed by the fact that more than 200 MW of RES projects are currently being developed in the region. With its strong portfolio and expertise in various energy sectors, Interenergo continues on its path to support the further development of an efficient and sustainable energy system and contribute to a greener Europe.
