Professor Darko Tipurić Delivers Lecture on Global Energy Future

Another interesting event was organized in collaboration with the Croatian Society of Economists and the MBA EFZG Alumni Association, bringing together many of our members and friends. We had the pleasure of listening to Darko Tipurić, a member of the XEnergy Advisory Board and President of the Croatian Society of Economists. His lecture on An Economic Perspective on the Global Energy Future was both relevant and thought-provoking, drawing a lot of interest.

During his talk, Professor Tipurić explained how geopolitical and economic factors are shaping the future of energy around the world. He spoke about the effects of conflicts and political tensions, such as the war in Ukraine, on energy security and supply chains. He also discussed how the economic competition between the United States and China is changing global trade and access to important resources. He pointed out that the European Union is in a fragile position and emphasized that climate change and the push to reduce carbon emissions are driving countries to invest more in clean energy, new technologies, and better energy efficiency.

After the lecture, many attendees continued to discuss energy topics during informal conversations, which made the event even more enjoyable. A big thank you to everyone who joined us, especially to our speaker and to our sponsor, ACCIONA Energía.
